Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of communications, and provide a location management client positioning method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a positioning request sent by a vertical application server to which a first location management client belongs; determining a target location management client which can share a position with the first location management client, wherein location information of the target location management client is used as location information of a first location management client to be positioned; and sending a positioning response to the vertical application server, wherein the positioning response comprises the location information of the target location management client.
