Abstract

The present disclosure provides a path establishment method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a first network element determines to establish a user plane path between the first network element and an access network device, and the first network element sends a first message to a second network element and/or sends a second message to a third network element, the first message and the second message being used for requesting to establish the user plane path between the first network element and the access network device. The present disclosure provides a method for triggering a request to establish a user plane path between a first network element and an access network device, so as to successfully establish the user plane path between the first network element and the access network device, and subsequently acquiring by the first network element service data from the access network device on the basis of the user plane path, thereby improving the data transmission efficiency.
