Abstract

A rack equipment removal tool includes a handle and a housing having a rotation shaft. The handle is coupled to the rotation shaft and configured to rotate with respect to the housing about the rotation shaft. The rack equipment removal tool further includes a hook having a first end coupled to the handle and a second end having a fastener configured to be coupled to a power module. The rack equipment removal tool further includes a frame mounting fastener coupled to the housing. The frame mounting fastener is configured to be coupled to a frame of an equipment rack supporting the power module. Rotation of the handle causes the movement of the hook to partially remove the power module from the equipment rack.
