Abstract

An aerosol generating device is provided, including: a housing (1), including a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; a heating element, configured to heat an aerosol generating substrate to generate an aerosol; a battery cell (4), configured to provide power to the heating element; a bottom cover (2), at least partially sealing the far end of the housing (1) and detachably connected to the housing (1); where the bottom cover (2) is configured to be detached from the housing (1) to open the far end of the housing (1), to allow the battery cell (4) to be taken out of the far end of the housing (1); the bottom cover (2) is capable of being converted between a locked state in which same is prevented from being detached from the housing (1) and an unlocked state in which same is allowed to be detached from the housing (1); and the bottom cover (2) is capable of being driven by a user to move relative to the housing (1) in the transverse direction, to convert from the locked state to the unlocked state; and in the unlocked state, at least a part of the bottom cover (2) protrudes out of the housing (1) in the transverse direction, so that the user is capable of operating the part that is of the bottom cover (2) and that protrudes out of the housing (1), to detach the bottom cover (2) from the housing (1).
