Abstract
An implant device (10) for an eye disease to be inserted into an eyeball may include: a tube (11) having one end to be inserted into an anterior chamber of the eyeball, the tube comprising a hollow portion through which aqueous humor is drained; and a ripcord (13) inserted into the hollow portion of the tube to control an amount of aqueous humor drainage through the tube. In the implant device, an inner diameter of the tube and a diameter of the ripcord are determined so that pressure formed in the anterior chamber of the eyeball when the tube is inserted into the anterior chamber of the eyeball is within a preset pressure range. The pressure formed in an anterior chamber to an optimal range through an appropriate combination of the tube and the ripcord inserted into the tube.
