Abstract

A control system for a vehicle (100) that controls a vehicle (100) including an electric motor (4F, 4R) as a drive source. The system includes a vehicle model, a storage device (103), and a processing circuit. The vehicle model reproduces, in the vehicle (100), a vehicle characteristic of a virtual vehicle. The storage device stores a gear-shifting line map for a stepped transmission in an automatic gear-shifting engine vehicle as the virtual vehicle. The processing circuit executes a traveling control to imitate traveling of the virtual vehicle, based on the vehicle model. The vehicle model is a transmission model for reproducing a gear-shifting characteristic of an automatic gear-shifting engine vehicle, and includes a transmission model that is constructed based on the gear-shifting line map. The processing circuit executes a customization process of the gear-shifting characteristic according to a customized setting for the gear-shifting characteristic, when the customized setting is received from a user interface.
