Abstract

A glitter pigment includes a flaky particle and a metal oxide layer formed on at least a portion of the surface of the flaky particle. The average particle size of the glitter pigment is 90 µm or more, and the average thickness of the glitter pigment is more than 5 µm and 15 µm or less, and the ratio of the average particle size to the average thickness is 10 or more and 30 or less. The glitter pigment is suitable for use as a filler for imparting glitter to a resin composition, and furthermore, can enhance the appearance of a resin molded article including the glitter pigment. The resin molded article includes the glitter pigment and a matrix resin.
