Abstract
A battery diagnostic device according to an embodiment disclosed herein may include an interface configured to acquire a voltage value of each of battery cells and one or more controllers configured to calculate an average voltage value of the battery cell, calculate a cell voltage deviation of each of the battery cells based on the average voltage value, generate diagnostic data related to the cell voltage deviation according to the average voltage value for each of the battery cells, and diagnose a state of the battery cells based on the cell voltage deviation in a diagnostic section in which an amount of change in the cell voltage deviation of the diagnostic data corresponds to a specified condition.
