Abstract

Disclosed are a method and an electronic device for determining a resistance of a battery cell, the method comprising the steps of: performing EIS analysis of the battery cell according to a plurality of temperatures including a first temperature and a second temperature so as to obtain a chart relating to the impedance of the battery cell according to a change in frequency; extracting a first inductance of the battery cell at the first temperature on the basis of a first graph relating to the impedance of the battery cell at the first temperature; and determining the resistance of the battery cell at the second temperature on the basis of the first inductance, wherein the second temperature is higher than the first temperature.
