Abstract

A mobility device, typically a remotely piloted aircraft, includes a memory storing at least one instruction and at least one processor that executes the at least one instruction to perform operations. The operations comprise determining whether to perform a handover process of a control authority ownership of the mobility device to another remotely pilot station based on communication strength between a first remotely pilot station and the mobility device, transmitting, based on a determination to perform the handover process, a communication request signal to a plurality of remotely pilot stations, and performing, based on a control authority handover start command being received from the first remotely pilot station, the handover process with a second remotely pilot station.
