Abstract

The invention relates to a method, operator assisting device, computer program and computer program product for assisting an operator during 'autonomous operation of a vessel (V1) as well as to a vessel comprising such an operator assisting device, where the vessel (V1) is controlled to move according to a present control scheme in a present passage along a route in a body of water and the method comprises displaying at least one safety zone (SZ) associated with an entity in or of the body of water, which safety zone the vessel (V1) should not enter, which displaying is related to the present passage of the vessel and triggered by at least one primary display trigger condition associated with the body of water and influencing the operation of the vessel (V1) based on the at least one safety zone.
