Abstract

An interface processing method and an electronic device. The method is applied to the electronic device, and a first application and a second application are installed in the electronic device. The method includes: The electronic device runs the first application, and when a user interface of the electronic device displays a first window picture of the first application, receives a first operation of a user for starting the second application; and when a first attribute is set in the first application, in a process of starting and running the second application in response to the first operation, the electronic device successively displays a starting window and a second window picture of the second application in the user interface, where the starting window is an intermediate interface for starting the second application, and the first attribute is used to indicate not to display the starting window. In embodiments of this application, response duration may be shortened, and user interaction experience may be improved.
