Abstract
A positive electrode active material includes a primary particle (1) containing an olivine-type phosphate compound and a coating material (5) containing carbon and coating at least part of a surface of the primary particle (1). In a TEM-EDS analysis, a Group 2 element is detected within the primary particle (1) and within the coating material (5).
