Abstract

A positive electrode active material comprises secondary particles (6), wherein each of the secondary particles includes primary particles (1), each of the primary particles includes an olivine-type phosphate compound, carbon and lithium phosphate are adhered to at least part of a surface of the primary particle (1), a thickness of carbon thus adhered is from 1 nm to 10 nm, and a thickness of lithium phosphate thus adhered is less than the thickness of carbon thus adhered.
