Abstract
The present invention provides a battery module 10 capable of detecting leakage of electrolyte, including: a housing 100 including a main frame 110 including a bottom 112 and a first end frame 120 and a second end frame 130 covering two ends of the main frame 110 in a first direction, respectively; one or more battery cells 200 dispsoed in an internal space V of the housing 100; and a first leakage sensor 300 dispsoed on an upper surface of the bottom 112 and detecting electrolyte leaking from the one or more battery cells 200. The main frame 110 may further include a first notch 115 provided at a first end of the first direction of the bottom 112 and connecting above and below the bottom 112 to discharge leaked electrolyte to the outside. The first leakage sensor 300 may be disposed adjacent to the first notch 115 and disposed in the main frame 110 inner than the first end of the first direction of the first notch 115.
