Abstract
A battery cell cooling unit to be arranged between battery cells is provided. The battery cell cooling unit includes: two facing plates in a space between the battery cells and respectively facing the battery cells; a thermoelectric element between the two facing plates and configured to dissipate heat generated by the battery cells; and an elastic pad between the two facing plates and configured to absorb volumetric expansion caused by swelling of the battery cells.
