Abstract

Embodiments of the present application provide a box body (10), a battery (1100), and an electrical device, the box body (10) comprising a main box body (100) and a separator (200). Through holes (101) are formed on the main box body (100), and the separator (200) is arranged in the main box body (100) and blocks the through holes (101). The separator (200) is configured to be melted through when thermal runaway occurs in a battery cell (20). In the embodiments of the present application, the separator (200) can block the through holes (101), such that the inside and outside of the main box body (100) are not in communication, and impurities such as metal particles outside of the main box body (100) cannot enter the main box body (100) from the through holes (101), thereby reducing the probability of insulation failure caused by metal particles outside of the main box body (100) entering the main box body (100). Moreover, the separator (200) can be melted though by heat generated by thermal runaway to promptly discharge heat, reducing the hidden danger of combustion or explosion caused by the occurrence of heat accumulation.
