Abstract

A cell stack assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cell stack comprising a plurality of battery cells; a first side beam provided on one side of the cell stack and having a first surface pressure absorbing portion configured therein to absorb surface pressure; and a second side beam provided on another side of the cell stack and having a second surface pressure absorbing portion configured thereinto absorb surface pressure. The first surface pressure absorbing portion and the second surface pressure absorbing portion are hollow structures, which absorb and disperse surface pressure due to volume expansion of the battery cells.
