Abstract
A battery module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a cell assembly including a plurality of battery cells; a lower housing that accommodates the cell assembly in its internal space; and a top plate mounted on an upper portion of the lower housing and including at least one venting hole and at least one step guide protruding outward.
