Abstract

An embodiment of the present invention provides a battery assembly including a plurality of battery cells, a battery housing configured to accommodate the battery cells therein, an insulating plate configured to include a plurality of through holes respectively corresponding to the battery cells, and stacked at an upper portion of the battery cells, a metal plate placed at an upper portion of the insulating plate, and configured to electrically connect the battery cells, and a battery management unit electrically connected to the metal plate, and configured to control charging and discharging of the battery cells.
