Abstract
Disclosed are a quick charging device for charging a plurality of battery packs and a quick charging method using the same, and more particularly a quick charging device for charging a plurality of battery packs, the quick charging device including a positive electrode high-voltage terminal configured to supply voltage, a negative electrode high-voltage terminal configured to supply voltage, a plurality of DC/AC converters connected to each of the positive electrode high-voltage terminal and the negative electrode high-voltage terminal, a plurality of variable AC autotransformers connected respectively to the plurality of DC/AC converters, each of the variable AC autotransformers being configured to adjust a voltage value, a plurality of AC/DC converters connected respectively to the plurality of variable AC autotransformers, a plurality of resistor modules connected respectively to the plurality of AC/DC converters, and a controller connected to each of the variable AC autotransformers, the controller being configured to control the voltage value of each of the variable AC autotransformers.
