Abstract

A rotary electric machine (1) includes a motor (2), a substrate (50), a terminal block (5), and a heat sink (40). The terminal block (5) includes a terminal (80), and the substrate (50) is fixed to the terminal block (5). The heat sink (40) accommodates the motor (2), the substrate (50), and the terminal block (5). The heat sink (40) includes an opening (41), and a part (60) of the terminal block (5) is inserted into the opening (41). The opening part (41) has an inner surface (42) opposed to the part (60) of the terminal block (5). The terminal block (5) includes a tubular part (60) having an outer surface (62) opposed to the inner surface (42). An elastic member (6) is disposed between the inner surface (42) and the outer surface (62).
