Abstract

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for resource allocation in sidelink communications. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a second UE, a sidelink control information (SCI) retransmission for a third UE. The method may include determining, based on the received SCI retransmission, first one or more resources used by the third UE for a data retransmission. The method may further include allocating resources for one or more subsequent transmissions, excluding second one or more resources used by the third UE for the SCI retransmission and the first one or more resources for the data retransmission.
