Abstract
According to a method for decompression backup, a compress node compresses and forwards packets to a master decompression node for decompression; and, in response to receiving a notification indicating that a decompression capability of the master decompression node is abnormal, the compress node switches packets to be decompressed by the master decompression node to a backup decompression node with normal decompression capability for decompression to achieve backup protection of the decompression nodes, thereby avoiding problems caused by decompression ability being abnormal, such as discarding data.
