Abstract

Disclosed in this application are a display method and a related device. The method may be applied to an electronic device including an outer screen, an inner screen, and an external camera, and the external camera includes one or more cameras. The outer screen and the external camera are on a same side of the electronic device. According to the method, the electronic device obtains a first notification in a folded state, and displays the first notification in a first display region of the outer screen when the first notification meets a first preset condition, the first display region being a display region extending from the external camera. This method can improve the utilization of a display region of an outer screen, and avoid the underutilization of a portion of a display region due to the presence of a camera cutout region or a special-shaped border in the outer screen.
