Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a display method, an electronic device, and a storage medium. In this method, the electronic device determines target duration of a second adjustment period based on composition time-consumption of at least one display frame in a first adjustment period, so as to obtain a first interface image drawn by a target application in the second adjustment period, and determine an arrival moment of an expected TE signal of a first display frame corresponding to the first interface image, so as to determine a frame composition trigger moment corresponding to the first interface image based on the arrival moment of the expected TE signal and the target duration of the second adjustment period, composite the first display frame based on the first interface image at the frame composition trigger moment, and then display the first display frame. In this way, the electronic device can periodically adjust the target duration, thereby reducing a finger track delay in a process in which a user operates a screen, improving finger track, increasing smoothness of picture display, and improving user experience.
