Abstract

The present invention concerns a method of transmitting a local command by an loT device to a secure element hosted by the loT device, the method comprising: generating the local command; signing the local command with a private key of a device keyset of the loT device; transmitting the signed local command to the secure element along with a device certificate comprising a public key of the device keyset of the loT device, the device certificate being signed by a local management private key obtained from a local management keyset, issued by a local management authority.
