Abstract
Techniques for automated overlay correction of steering angle with minimal driver interference are provided. In an example, a method comprises determining, by a system onboard a vehicle comprising a processor, a level of awareness of a driver. The method can further comprise detecting, by the system, a hazard. The method can further comprise regulating, by the system, lateral control of the vehicle based on the detected hazard and determined level of awareness of the driver.
