Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a construction material, such us blocks with different geometric configurations, forms and dimensions, pavers, pillars, beams, among others, derived from the treatment and valorisation of textile industry effluents and wastewater, and other residues from industrial processes,, namely ashes and slag from construction and demolitions, , as well as to a method for treating industrial effluents by functional incorporation into a solid matrix, methods of manufacturing said construction material, and uses thereof. The said construction material and the associated effluent treatment method enable the valorisation of water and industrial effluents, reduce the consumption of natural resources, convert liquid industrial waste into a chemically stabilised and immobilised form, reduces the consumption of natural recourses, and minimizes the ecological footprint of the construction sector.
