Abstract

Techniques for visualization of access events across a facility are described. In one aspect, event data associated with one or more users from multiple access detection units of the facility is obtained. This event data indicates interactions between users and access detection units of the facility. A layout representation of the facility, overlaid with the locations of the access detection units of the facility, is accessed. The event data is synthesized to determine paths traversed by users, where synthesizing includes transforming the event data into a visually dynamic format. A visual representation of the event data is then generated, indicating user movements within the facility in correspondence with the layout representation. Thereafter, this visual representation is provided to personnel.
