Abstract
A wound iron core (10) is configured by winding a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet (11) in the rolling direction. In a cross-section parallel to the rolling direction at a bent portion of a corner (12) of the wound iron core (10), Kout is an average value of a KAM value in a region from a center of thickness of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet (11) to an outer peripheral side of the wound iron core (10), Kin is an average value of the KAM value in a region from the center of thickness of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet (11) to an inner peripheral side of the wound iron core (10), and KR defined as KR = Kin/Kout is 1.05 or more and 1.6 or less.
