Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery cell, a cover plate assembly, a battery, and an electrical device. The battery cell includes a housing and an electrode assembly; the housing is provided with a mounting cavity, and the electrode assembly is arranged in the mounting cavity; an avoidance area is arranged on a first wall of the housing; the side of the avoidance area facing the electrode assembly is recessed to form an avoidance slot, and the side of the avoidance area away from the electrode assembly protrudes out to form a protrusion; and a part of the electrode assembly extends into the avoidance slot.
