Abstract
This application relates to the technical field of energy storage, and specifically discloses a secondary battery, a secondary battery manufacturing method, and an electrical device. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, a separator, and a filler. The first electrode plate includes a first current collector and a first active material layer. The second electrode plate includes a second current collector and a second active material layer. The separator is disposed between the first active material layer and the second active material layer. The first active material layer is provided with a groove. The groove includes a groove opening and a groove wall. Another side of the separator facing the groove opening corresponds to the second active material layer. The filler includes a filling portion. The filling portion is located in the groove. The filling portion covers at least a part of the groove wall. The filler can separate the separator from lithium dendrites deposited in the groove, and limit the growth of lithium dendrites in the groove toward the separator, thereby hindering the lithium dendrites from piercing the separator.
