Abstract

A solid-state battery includes: a positive electrode current collector; a positive electrode layer disposed on at least one main face of the positive electrode current collector; an insulating layer that is disposed on the one main face of the positive electrode current collector, is contiguous with the end portion of the positive electrode layer, and is flush with the positive electrode layer; and a solid electrolyte layer disposed on the positive electrode layer and the insulating layer with its end portion in a position overlying the insulating layer.
