Abstract

Disclosed are an electrode tab inspection apparatus capable of quickly and accurately determining whether stacked electrode tabs are defective at low cost and an electrode tab inspection method using the same, and more particularly an electrode tab inspection apparatus including a photographing unit configured to photograph the electrode tab through transmission photography, an edge setting unit configured to set an edge for the part of a photograph result of the photographing unit in which the color or brightness changes, and a classification unit configured to classify the edge set by the edge setting unit as being related to stability or not being related to stability and an electrode tab inspection method using the same. The inspection apparatus and method achieve a detection rate of 100% for defects in the electrode tab.
