Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of batteries. Disclosed in the present application are a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. The battery cell comprises a shell and a pressure relief notch, wherein the shell comprises a first wall; and the pressure relief notch is arranged in the first wall and comprises an arc section and a first extension section, the arc section having a first end, and the first extension section being connected to the first end and extending from the first end in the direction approaching the central axis of the arc section. In the battery cell according to the embodiments of the present application, the tearing range and tearing direction of a torn part on the shell can be controlled, and partial valve opening can be achieved after thermal runaway of the battery cell and tearing of the pressure relief notch, thereby reducing the probability of tearing over a large area of the shell and reducing the damage to the battery cell caused by uncontrollable cracks.
