Abstract

A secondary battery and an electronic device are provided. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a housing and a first tab assembly. The electrode assembly includes first electrode plates, second electrode plates, and separators. The electrode assembly is formed by stacking the first electrode plates, the separators and the second electrode plates along a first direction. The first direction is a thickness direction of the electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes a plurality of sequentially connected side faces, one of which is a first side face and another is a second side face. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing. The first tab assembly includes a plurality of first tabs and a second tab. The plurality of first tabs extend out of the first side face, the plurality of first tabs are respectively connected to the first electrode plates, and the plurality of first tabs are electrically connected to each other and accommodated in the housing. The second tab extends out of the second side face along a second direction, one end of the second tab is connected to one first electrode plate, and the other end of the second tab extends out of the housing. The above secondary battery is conducive to improving the energy density.
