Abstract

An antenna assembly includes an antenna that has an antenna base, and an adapter plate configured to couple the antenna to a moveable machine. The antenna base may include a plurality of pucks that extend through orifices of the adapter plate. The adapter plate may include a feature that converts an otherwise blunt impact load into a slicing impact load. The adapter plate may include a support wall that extends upward and is aft of the antenna.
