Abstract
An electric motor (2) comprises a stator (4) and a rotor (5) rotatable around a rotor axis (A) fixed with respect to the stator (4), characterized in that the rotor (5) comprises a phase change material (PCM) solid or semi-solid at ambient temperature and adapted to liquefy at a liquefaction temperature within a range of operating temperatures of the electric motor (2).
