Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting data in a network, a chip, and a communication system, to form more flexible network data transmission, improve the data transmission efficiency and bandwidth, and reduce the data transmission latency. The method for transmitting data in a network comprises: initiating, via a head node, transmission of a first public packet comprising first public data; receiving, via an i-th child node, the first public packet transmitted sequentially in the network, and adding first node data to the first public packet; and receiving, via an termination node, the first public packet transmitted sequentially through N child nodes in the network, wherein the first public packet comprises the first public data and the first node data, or alternatively, receiving, via the termination node after a k-th child node receives the first public packet transmitted sequentially in the network and obtains the first node data in the first public packet, the first public packet transmitted sequentially through the N child nodes in the network, wherein the first public packet comprises the first public data, wherein i is less than k in a transmission direction.
