Abstract
A Wi-Fi device (112, 104) includes a wireless interface circuit (134, 124) and a control circuit (132, 122). The control circuit (132, 122) receives a timing profile of scheduled traffic of a non-Wi-Fi wireless communication device (114), and refers to the timing profile to instruct the wireless interface circuit (134, 124) to transmit at least one frame for triggering a non-primary channel access mechanism between the Wi-Fi device (112, 104) and another Wi-Fi device (104, 112).
