Abstract
A method of calibrating grain loss on an agricultural machine harvesting crop may include initiating a first calibration process of a grain loss monitoring system on the machine and executing the first calibration process by receiving sensor signals from sensors on the agricultural machine and a grain loss measurement based on an analysis of a harvested area in the field. The method may also include adjusting a machine setting on the agricultural machine based on an output of the first calibration process and monitoring grain loss after the setting is adjusted to evaluate the effect on grain loss of adjusting the setting.
