Abstract

The present invention relates to a machine (100) for manufacturing and closing stuffed meat products with a closing device (2) mounted in the machine (100) in a displaceable manner between at least two positions, one of which is a withdrawn position (N) suitable for supplying a closing element to the closing device so that it can apply said closing element on an empty longitudinal casing portion, wherein the displacement of the closing device (2) is brought about by an actuator (31) and transmitted to the closing device (2) through a kinematic chain (32), the machine being equipped with means for the non-manual updating of the amount of movement that the actuator (31) must impart to the kinematic chain (32) to ensure that in the displacements of the closing device (2) towards the mentioned withdrawn position (N) the closing device (2) is stopped in said withdrawn position (N) with required precision, with position deviations caused by wear and/or misalignments in the kinematic chain being corrected.
