Abstract

[TASK] To provide a seat device capable of accurately estimating a position of a sole.[SOLUTION] A seat device 1 includes: a seat main body 2 provided behind an operation pedal 3; a sensor 10 installed on a seat surface 7 of the seat main body 2 and configured to detect a body pressure distribution of a seated person; and a controller configured to estimate a position of a sole of a right foot of the seated person based on the body pressure distribution. The controller is configured to estimate the position of the sole of the right foot based on the body pressure distribution in each of a plurality of monitoring areas set in different positions on the seat surface 7.
