Abstract
What is provided is a method of stabilizing control of a CO<sub>2</sub> recovery device including a regeneration tower provided with a thermosiphon section. A regeneration tower of a CO<sub>2</sub> recovery device includes: a first regeneration section configured to store an absorbent solution supplied to the regeneration tower from an absorption tower of the CO<sub>2</sub> recovery device and a second regeneration section provided below the first regeneration section; and a thermosiphon section that is piping connected from a lower portion of the first regeneration section to an upper portion of the second regeneration section via a heat exchanger, in which the absorbent solution is supplied from the first regeneration section to the second regeneration section through the thermosiphon section, and in the piping that constitutes the thermosiphon section, the volume of piping arranged in a horizontal direction and provided within a range in which a liquid level of the absorbent solution fluctuates in piping arranged in a liquid-phase portion upstream of the heat exchanger is smaller than the volume by which the absorbent solution stored in the second regeneration section is permitted to fluctuate.
