Abstract
In a turning control device (70), a steered wheel is a controlled object and a motor that turns the steered wheel is an operational object. The turning control device is configured to execute a right-turning operation process, a left-turning operation process, and a midpoint calculation process. The right-turning operation process is a process of maximally displacing the steered wheel to a right-turning side at a right-turning speed by operating the motor. The left-turning operation process is a process of maximally displacing the steered wheel to a left-turning side at a left-turning speed by operating the motor. The midpoint calculation process is a process of calculating a midpoint between a maximum value of a steered angle of the steered wheel on the right-turning side in the right-turning operation process and a maximum value of the steered angle on the left-turning side in the left-turning operation process. The right-turning operation process includes a process of changing the right-turning speed during the right-turning operation process.
