Abstract

Provided is a safety valve in which a gas is not ignited at the time of ignition of explosive for activating the valve.A safety valve 30 includes a main body 31 and an igniter 34. The main body 31 includes a region 31A in which a male thread is threaded, an internal space 31B in which the igniter 34 is provided, a hole portion 31C communicating with a space 10a of a tank main body 10, an openable portion 32 which is a bottom portion of the hole portion 31C and is opened by ignition of the igniter 34, and a discharge port 33 for discharging a gas at the time of activation. A fixing member 36 is provided with a cylindrical member 42, a pore portion 42a is formed in a bottom portion of the cylindrical member 42, and an O-ring 43 is provided in the middle of an inner wall of the pore portion 42a. Inside the cylindrical member 42, a piston member 44 is provided in which the tip portion of a rod-shaped portion 44a penetrates the pore portion 42a. The piston member 44 includes a recessed receiving portion 44b that receives the flame of the igniter 34. A space between the inner wall of the cylindrical member 42 and the surface of the piston member 44 is filled with a heat reducing flame extinguishing agent 45.
