Abstract
The present disclosure provides a system for mirror positioning comprising a mirror fixture secured to a first end of a body defining a longitudinal resonant spectroscopy cavity. The mirror fixture defines an opening to receive a first mirror, a through-hole, and has at least three clamps to selectively secure the first mirror after positioning. The system includes a mirror holder with an opening to temporarily receive the first mirror for positioning relative to the mirror fixture and body, and defining a through-hole. A translation stage moves the mirror holder and first mirror through multiple positions relative to the mirror fixture and body as laser light projects through the mirror holder through-hole, through the first mirror, through the mirror fixture through-hole, into the resonant spectroscopy cavity, and out to be reflected by a second mirror secured to the body's second end until resonance is detected.
