Abstract
A method for identifying a personalized instance of a given object in a target image (I), comprising:- obtaining a plurality of embedding vectors (e<sub>p</sub>) of objects from a mask of objects in a set of reference images associated with said objects, said embedding vectors (e<sub>p</sub>) being obtained from an image encoder trained within a self-<sup>2</sup>supervised foundation model, one embedding vector being associated with one reference image for one object,- storing said plurality of embedding vectors (e<sub>p</sub>) of said objects with identifiers associated with said objects,- determining that the target image (I) comprises said personalized instance of said given object based on a similarity between- an embedding vector (e<sub>oi</sub>) of said personalized instance of said object obtained using said trained foundation model, and- the embedding vectors (e<sub>p</sub>) stored in said memory.
