Abstract

Provided is a system including: a plurality of switching units connected in parallel to a bus to which a power generation unit and a load are connected, the plurality of switching units each being switchable among a current-carrying state in which a current flows between a connected battery pack and the bus, a charge-prohibited state in which a current flows from the battery pack to the bus but a current is prohibited from flowing from the bus to the battery pack, a discharge-prohibited state in which a current flows from the bus to the battery pack but a current is prohibited from flowing from the battery pack to the bus, and a cutoff state in which no current flows between the bus and the battery pack, and each having an NMOS-type discharge FET and an NMOS-type charge FET; a plurality of battery packs, each being the battery pack, that are respectively connected to the plurality of switching units; a boost device which supplies power for control to two or more switching units of the plurality of switching units; and a management unit which manages charging and discharging of the plurality of battery packs by using the boost device.
